We wanted to explore Italy's Amalfi Coast for a couple days but decided last minute to spend our time on the island of Capri instead. I was absolutely blown away by the pure beauty of the island. Mount Solaro proved to be the highlight of our time on the island, as we hiked to the peak twice in one day...once in the morning and again at sunset. The peak wasn't that high (only 589m above sea level) but because the sea completely surrounded us the cliffs felt endless. The seagulls flying below us looked like ants from the top.
Unbeknownst to us, the beach we went to had no sand...just slabs of rock. But we didn't really care, it was still paradise to us.
